Can guinea pigs eat seeds?

Unfortunately, seeds are not good for guinea pigs to eat. Generally, they contain too much fat content for guinea pigs to eat and should be avoided.

If they have one or two on an occasional basis, they will be fine but really nothing more than that.

Be careful though as they will eat everything that you give them and eating too much may make them unwell.

You occasionally find seeds in guinea pig mix which can be surprising.
