They can’t at all, unfortunately. They are far too sweet for guinea pigs to eat and the sugar content is too much for their stomachs.

They shouldn’t eat any kind of candy such as this. Stock to feeding them veggies and fruits plus guinea pig mix. They will enjoy it a whole lot more.

They are so popular in so many different countries around the world especially with the variety of different types there are.
So can guinea pigs eat candy and if they can, how much of it can they eat?
Unfortunately they can’t at all,and are definitely a food to avoid as they just can’t handle its sweetness.
Instead, give them fresh veggies and hay. They will appreciate them a whole lot more.

If they do happen to eat one or two then they should be fine but because they are very sweet and hold no nutritional value for them, they should not be fed to them regularly.

If they do happen to eat more than one or two, then it would be worth seeking veterinarian advice for what do to next.

Me personally, I’m in the former camp as someone who could eat them all day.

So it really is a food for them to steer clear of and not eat at all.
