Grapefruit juice is enjoyed by many especially as a breakfast drink.

It is usually found in cartons and can be purchased at many good grocery stores.

So if we can drink it, can guinea pigs drink grapefruit juice and if they can, how much of it can they drink?
Unfortunately they cant drink grapefruit juice at all.

The reasons for this are as follows.
1. it has too many added preservatives and additives in it which guinea pigs can’t have.
2. it is far too acidic for them and will upset their stomachs if they were to drink it.

So stick to giving them water to drink and keep the grapefruit juice to yourselves 🙂
