Can Guinea Pigs Eat Toilet Paper?

Toilet paper is sold as a long strip of perforated paper wrapped around a paperboard core.

If they chew it, it wont harm them although they probably wont chew it for long once they realise it doesn’t taste so good. So they wont eat it usually only merely chew it.

The great thing about them is that they are completely fine for guinea pigs to chew and eat.

They won’t be harmed at all, and although they won’t take to it as a food, it will give them something to chew on.

The other thing is that it will give them a great toy as well.

My guinea pigs love to mess around with toilet paper rolls, moving them around from place to place, climbing them and other stuff.

What about toilet paper tolls with the paper still on them?

Well that would be fine for them, but it would get a little messy in their cage with all that toilet paper unwound all over the place so I wouldn’t recommend it
