Bedfordshire

RSPCA South Bedfordshire –  Based in Dunstable, we are an independent charity which carries out vital animal welfare work throughout the local area, from Luton, Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard through to Ampthill, Toddington and Flitwick.

The Alternative Sanctuary – Based near Luton, The Alternative Sanctuary is a non-profit making organisation, which cares for abandoned and unwanted animals including Guinea pigs.

The Re-homing Animal Telephone Service – Based in Bedford, R.A.T.S. – Re-homing Animal Telephone Service – is a registered Animal Welfare Charity operating in the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire area.

Berkshire

Diana Brimblecombe Animal Rescue Centre – Based in Wokingham, Berkshire,  the rescue centre was founded 40 years ago and continues to operate to this day taking in all kinds of animals including guinea pigs.

Buckinghamshire

HULA Animal Rescue – Based in Milton Keynes, Bucks. The aims of the Charity are to relieve suffering and distress, by providing refuge and care to unwanted domestic animals until suitable permanent adoptions can be found

Cambridgeshire

Wood Green – Based near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. They are an animal welfare charity founded in 1924. Today they find new homes for almost 6,000 animals every year including cats, dogs, small furrys & field animals.

Channel Islands

Sarnia Guinea Pig Rescue – is a non profit organisation, providing a safe home for unwanted and neglected guinea pigs in Guernsey, Channel Islands.

County Durham

Farplace Animal Rescue – Based in Westgate, Weardale, Co Durham. Farplace Animal Rescue is a no kill animal sanctuary. They take in animals often rejected elsewhere like feral cats who are FIV+.

Kays Hill Animal Sanctuary – Based in West Auckland, Kays Hill provides shelter for a large number of animals including guinea pigs

Derbyshire

RSPCA Derby & District Branch – The role of Derby & District RSPCA is to provide help and support for animals and their owners from Derby and the surrounding Derbyshire areas.

Devon

Animals in distress – Based in Torbay, Animals in distress was formed in 1981 by Mrs Georgina Lang, Mrs Eileen Hunt and Mrs Muriel Sellick, who looked after dogs for people who were going into hospital.

Woodside Sanctuary – Based in Plympton, Plymouth, The Woodside Animal Welfare Trust is an animal rehoming charity.

Dorset

The guinea pig ranch – Based in Bournemouth, We offer permanent and and temporary accommodation for Guinea pigs in a safe, secure and caring environment.

Essex

Mistley Place Park – Based near Manningtree, they have over 2,000 rescued animals at any one time, and the number of animals continues to increase daily Blackberry Patch guinea pig rescue – Based in Chelmsford, they are a family run shelter and rescue for abused, abandoned and neglected Guinea Pigs.

Gloucestershire

The Littlest Rescue – Based in Bristol, we are a small completely self-funded rabbit and guinea pig rescue.  The main rescue centre is in Staplehill, with a smaller foster homes around Bristol.  We mainly rescue rabbits and guinea pigs but also occasionally take in other small furries

Yate Small Animal & Foster Rehome – Based in Yate, Bristol,  they a small,private fostering and re-homing service which is completely non profit making. They take on animals, birds & reptiles on a temporary basis as a foster with the view to finding them a permanent, genuine loving home.

Windwhistle Warren Rabbit and Guinea Pig Rescue – based in Chaxhill, Gloucestershire. Rabbits and guinea pigs are the most neglected of pets and our aim is to change that for the ones who come into our care.

Shortwood Small Animal Rescue & Boarding centre – Based in Shortwood, Bristol, We are a small self funded non profit rescue rehoming rabbits and guinea pigs.

Hampshire

Wheek and Squeak – based in Bishops Waltham, Southampton, Hampshire. The Rescue is a charity run from our home and we take in unwanted guinea pigs regardless of age or illness and they will be taken care of until a suitable home is found for them.

Safe and Sound animal care – based in the blackwater valley area, they are  a non-profit animal welfare charity, founded in April 2010 offering rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of stray or unwanted animals.

Hertfordshire

Aunty Animal small animal rescue – Based in Sawbridgeworth, they provide adoption and re-homing services for small animals.

National Animal Welfare Trust – Based in Watford, The Trust, founded in 1971, operates rescue centres for unwanted, ill-treated and abandoned animals and birds. 

Kent

April lodge – Based in Sandwich, Kent, they offer adoption, foster care and boarding for guinea pigs

Tag Pet Rescue Centre – Based in Margate, Kent, The T.A.G. Pet Rescue website brings you news from The Thanet Animal Group and of unwanted pets looking for new homes in Margate, Broadstairs, Ramsgate and the surrounding areas.

GBH Rescue – based in Beckenham, they take in Bunnies, Hamsters, guinea pigs and other small furries and rehome them.  

RSPCA Medway – Based in Chatham, they are part of the RSPCA network providing care and rehoming for animals.

Anim-mates – Based in St Mary Hoo, they provide sanctuary for unwanted and abandoned animals of all shapes, sizes, and ages.

Lancashire

Tameside Rabbit and Guinea Pig Rescue – Based in Greater Manchester, Tameside Rabbit and Guinea Pig Rescue came into being due to the large number of requests from owners in Tameside asking us to find new homes for their unwanted rabbits and guinea pigs.

RSPCA Manchester & Salford Branch – Based in Manchester, they have guinea pigs ready to be rehomed.

RSPCA Lancashire East – Based in Accrington, they are part of the RSPCA network, they rescue and rehome all kinds of animals

Animal Care – Based in Lancaster, Animal Care has existed in various forms for over 30 years but as a registered charity since 1978.  A few local animal lovers started to care for animals in their own homes when no-one else would help them and as the need for help increased so did the need for a permanent site to house the dogs, cats, rabbits, sheep, goats, horses and other animals desperately in need of care and attention.

Lincolnshire

RSPCA Lincolnshire Mid and Lincoln Branch – based in Lincoln, they are part of the RSPCA network that seeks to rescue and rehome animals.

London

Animal Rescue and Care (A.R.C.) – Based in Richmond upon Thames, our priority is to rescue, foster and rehome animals in the Richmond Upon Thames area. We work mainly with cats, rabbits and guinea pigs, but also with dogs and ‘small furries’ such as hamsters and chinchillas.

This Little Piggy – Based in Richmond Upon Thames, This Little Piggy is a small guinea pig rescue also offering boarding for guinea pigs who will receive our expert care while you are away on holiday.

Norfolk

West Norfolk RSPCA rehoming centre – based in Kings Lynn, The West Norfolk RSPCA is an independent Branch of the RSPCA, with its Rehoming Centre being at Eau Brink.

Swaffham Guinea Pig Rescue – Based in Swaffham, rescue and rehoming for guinea pigs in Swaffham and surrounding areas.

Nottinghamshire

Avalon Guinea Pig Rescue – is a Nottingham based re-homing centre for guinea pigs (cavies). They started officially as a rescue centre at the beginning of January 2006

RSPCA Radcliffe Animal Shelter  – Based in Nottingham, they are part of the RSPCA national network

Bramcote animal rescue –  located in the village of Bramcote near Nottingham has been rescuing abandoned animals for over 21 years. Many lost, unwanted, and poorly treated pets have found refuge and shelter at the centre and eventually loving new homes.

East Midlands Open Rescue – EMOR is a small, self-funded animal rescue based in Grantham, Lincolnshire and is run entirely by dedicated volunteers. Our aim is to help any animal in need and we work to rehabilitate ill, injured and unwanted animals before placing them in permanent, loving homes.

Oxfordshire

Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary –  Based in Stadhampton, the Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary has provided and continues to provide hundreds of abandoned animals with a second chance.

Somerset

RSPCA North Somerset – Based in Brent Knoll, Nr Burnham-On-Sea, they are part of the RSPCA national network

National Animal Welfare trust – Heaven’s Gate Farm is situated in West Henley, near Langport, Somerset. The centre cares for and re-homes animals who are unwanted or looking for a new home for other reasons.

Surrey

Bobtails Rescue – is a guinea pig sanctuary based in East Ewell, Surrey, UK Animal Rescue – Based in Sutton, We are a non-profit, all volunteer organization, dedicated to rescuing and re-homing small domestic animals. We work closely and assist the RSPCA from all over the counties.

Sussex

Crawley Guinea Pig Rescue – Based in Crawley, West Sussex area they provide an exensive service rescuing and re homing guinea pigs

Palace Piggie Rescue – Palace piggies, based in Crawley, West Sussex, has been set up by Lynn and Liz who are piggie lovers. We’ve been keeping guinea pigs for a few years now and having fostered for Crawley Guinea Pig Rescue, we have discovered the world of Guinea Pig Rescue.

Pooh and piglet guinea pig rescue – Based in West Sussex, we have been a guinea pig rescue for the last six years, taking in pigs of all ages and try to re-home them.

RSPCA Sussex, Brighton & East Grinstead – Based in Patcham, Brighton, The Sussex Brighton and East Grinstead Branch of the RSPCA is entirely self-funding, and is run by an active committee of volunteers who are trustees of the Branch funds. The Branch is responsible for the Brighton Animal Shelter at Patcham.

Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare – Based in Ringmer, We rescue, rehome and provide sanctuary for more than 1500 animals each year.

The Cat and Rabbit Rescue centre – Based in Chichester, we Rescue & Rehome Cats, Rabbits and Guinea Pigs.

Worthing and district animal rescue service – Based in Worthing,  Our main objectives are the rescue and rehabilitation of wildlife, and the rescue and rehoming of domestic animals.

PAWS Animal Sanctuary  – Based in Findon, West Sussex, just north of Worthing is a sanctuary, that is home to over 100 animals at any one time.

 Staffordshire

Potteries Guinea Pig Rescue – The Potteries Guinea Pig Rescue is a small, dedicated rescue run by experienced owner Helen Chadwick with the help of a brilliant team.

Suffolk

Suffolk Animal Rescue – Based in Saxmundham, Suffolk.  They pride ourselves on being non-selective about the animals needing our help.

Suffolk & Essex Small Animal Welfare – Based in Leavenheath, A wide variety of animals passes through our doors from local vets, members of the public and social services.   Many are abandoned, some are the victims of road accidents, most of them are looking for a new home, all are in need of care.

Tyne and Wear

Lil Fury Rescues – They run a small non profit, home based rescue in Wallsend. A love for animals runs in the family have had a life time of experience with all animals.

North East Guinea pig rescue – Based in North Shields, Tyne and Wear, North East Guinea Pig Rescue was established in 2008 by Layla Rumsey to offer a safe haven for unwanted, neglected and abandoned guinea pigs in the local area. The rescue is a home based rescue which is self-funded and non-profit making. It relies completely on public donations to continue to carry out its objectives.

Paws for thought – Based in the Newcastle area, We work to best practice in all aspects of animal welfare and always check new homes carefully. We have a firm neutering policy throughout including work with feral colonies.

Warwickshire

 Rabbit & Guinea Pig Welfare – Based in Rugby, the rabbit and guinea pig welfare was established in 1995 by Julie Fox, she started by just taking in a few strays, and ended up rehoming over five hundred animals a year.

West Midlands

RSPCA Coventry and Nuneaton – Based in Nuneaton, they are part of the RSPCA national network Animal Allsorts – Based in Birmingham, a small charity run by unpaid volunteers using foster homes to adopt abandoned & unwanted pets that we ID microchip and neuter.

 Wiltshire

Cotton tails rescue – based in westbury, Mairwen Guard M.B.E. offers re-homing unwanted rabbits and guinea pigs, I also offer advice and basic practical help such as claw clipping and de-matting.

Swindon & District Animal haven – Based in Swindon, they are a dedicated team of volunteers that provide local rehoming for animals.

Worcesteshire

Hopper Haven – Based in Redditch, Hopper Haven is an animal welfare charity specialising in rabbits and guinea pigs.

Wythall Animal Sanctuary – Based in Wythall, we re-home not only dogs and cats but also rabbits,guinea pigs, budgies, cockatiels, ferrets, gerbils, hamsters and occasionally horses and ponies. We also take in and care for wildlife but if the wildlife is in need of specific care we will transfer these to a specialist Wildlife Centre on your behalf.

Yorkshire

Bramley Animal Rescue – They are a registered animal rescue in Leeds, west yorkshire. UK They are dedicated to rescuing and rehoming unwanted and ill treated small animals and reptiles.

Cavy Corner – Based in Doncaster, Cavy Corner rescues abused, abandoned, neglected and unwanted guinea pigs in addition to taking in Piggies with special needs either because of poor health or behaviour.

MIlhaven Guinea pig rescue – Based in Keighley, West Yorkshire, MIlhaven is a small, non-profit RSPCA approved rescue run entirely on a voluntary basis.

RSPCA York Animal Home – Based in Clifton, York, they are part of the RSPCA national network

Royston Animal Welfare – Based in Penistone, south yorks, our main aim is pet rescue; helping animals in need from Barnsley, the surrounding South Yorkshire area & beyond and then finding them loving new homes.

RSPCA Doncaster and Rotherham – Based in Bawtry, they are part of the RSPCA national network.
