Can Guinea Pigs Eat Paper Towel Rolls?

A paper towel (or kitchen paper) is an absorbent towel made from tissue paper instead of cloth.
Unlike cloth towels, paper towels are disposable and intended to be used only once.

A paper towel roll is the piece of cardboard which holds the paper towels which are coiled around it.

Can guinea pigs eat paper towel rolls?

If you are looking for something for your guinea pigs to chew on or play with to break their boredom, then something free you can use is to use paper towel rolls.

The great thing about them is that they are long and so can provide something for your piggies to chew on as well as play with how they like in their cage.

Paper towel rolls these days are not dangerous for them to chew on and they might enjoy just gnawing something.

If you do use paper towel rolls, consider putting the empty roll aside for your guinea pigs the next time you finish a roll.

Just by putting them in un-cutup, will provide a bit of entertainment for them as well as something else to nibble on
