As you can see, iceburg lettuce contains a hint of calcium, phosphorus and acidic content, a little sugar how we’ve the thing about iceburg lettuce is that it is really high in water content.

This makes it not good for guinea pigs and the one lettuce that shouldn’t be given to guinea pigs unfortunately.

Why can’t guinea pigs eat iceburg lettuce?

The high water content in iceburg lettuce will cause bloatage and really isnt good for them. If they happen to nibble on some then they will be fine, but iceburg lettuce shouldn’t be fed to them as a staple food.
