Huckleberries are usually found in North America and in particular, are the state fruit of Idaho.

They are small and round in shape, usually measuring between 5-10 mm and look quite like blueberries.

They vary in colour between bright red, blue and purple and are enjoyed by humans and animals alike in the wild

So can guinea pigs eat huckleberries as well?

As you can see, there isn’t much nutritional data on huckleberries. So we can only go on what we have above.

But as you can see, they have a hint of calcium and fat in them and then a bit of vitamin c in them.

So guinea pigs can eat huckleberries, two to three times a week should suffice. However there are others who say 1-2 times a week. But they aren’t bad at all for guinea pigs at all, but in the same way, there are better fruits that they can eat due to the distinct lack of vitamin c.
