Can Guinea Pigs Eat Goat Food?

Goats have various foods that they eat.

They tend to have their goats mix which contains such ingredients as Barley Peas Cereal straw (treated) Wheat feed Expelled linseed Maize Oats Soya Alfalfa Calcium carbonate Grass meal Expelled soya oil Salt Dried carrots Dried fruit Mint.

They also eat feeding hay and alfalfa. Hay is the main source of nutrients for goats in non-grazing seasons or all the time (source)

Can Guinea Pigs Eat Goat Food?

They can nibble goats mix if they incidentally came across it. However, it isn’t a food that should be purposely be fed to piggies.

Mature guinea pigs cannot eat alfalfa hay as well, it is too full of calcium.
