Field hay is hay which is made from a mixture of crops grown specifically for the purpose. It is also known as hay that is harvested directly from a field, rather than being stored in a barn.

Can Guinea Pigs Eat Field Hay?

It is not the best hay for guinea pigs but it is okay for them to nibble on as long as you are aware of where it has come from. Guinea pigs much prefer softer greener hay though rather than rough yellow hay.
